Grace Harkins

  • Grace Harkins, our newest attorney, brings both passion and dedication to her work in family law. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Grace did not initially plan to pursue a legal career—despite growing up with an attorney father. While studying History and Political Science at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska, she enrolled in a Constitutional Law course when one of her other courses was canceled. After just one class, Grace knew that she wanted to study and work with the law for the rest of her life. With the encouragement and guidance of her mentors, Professor Houston and Dr. Orsag, Grace made the decision to attend law school.
  • She earned her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating in 2024. During law school, Grace served as both a teaching assistant and a research assistant—experiences that further deepened her academic interest in the law and refined her analytical skills.
  • Since passing the Washington State Bar Exam in the summer of 2024, Grace has focused her practice almost exclusively on family law. Though it wasn’t her original path, she has found this area of law to be both meaningful and rewarding, and is passionate about helping clients navigate complex family matters with compassion and clarity.
  • Outside of her legal work, Grace enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with friends. She shares her home with her golden retriever, Ophelia.
