Mary Carter is a Gonzaga Law honors graduate, military brat, and East Coast transplant. Her pride and joy is her sweater collection, which is the thing she would run back into a burning building to grab. At approximately 2:30pm she is predictably with a Diet Coke in hand. She values the cinematic universe that is the Hallmark channel but is equally capable of going toe-to-toe on any matter of current events with the same level of passion as evidenced by her empathic hand gestures.
As MDH Law’s writing department, priding herself on mastering the Court of Appeals formatting, Mary can often be found behind pages of legal research or in front of multiple screens having found herself, like Alice in Wonderland, falling down the rabbit hole writing an extremely long sentence. When not divulging others in some topic no one else finds interesting, Mary is off running on the Centennial Trail as a long-distance runner having an internal monologue about the pet outfits she sees along the way because who doesn’t love a dog in a sweater? Mary has no pets herself, rather she frets about keeping her plants alive and returning text messages on time.
