Jazmine Aleman
LEGAL ASSISTANT
Hola! I’m Jazmine Aleman, originally from the small town of Connell. I am proud to be a first-generation college graduate. I earned my high school diploma along with an associate’s degree, then pursued my undergraduate studies at Gonzaga University, where I double majored in Criminology and Sociology with a minor in Psychology.
During my undergraduate years, I actively engaged with the Hispanic community in Spokane, working closely with NRCC (Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario). I helped community members navigate resources and access support. I take pride in my background and in who I have become through these experiences; they have shaped my identity and motivated me to advocate for my community.
Since graduating early from Gonzaga, I’ve chosen to stay in Spokane to shape my career. As a Legal Assistant at MDH Law, I’ve gained valuable insights into family law and enjoy being the welcoming voice that clients hear when they first contact our office. I manage incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate team members, and assist clients with the initial steps of the family law process.
Additionally, I help prepare legal documents, and maintain case files, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our clients. My work allows me to collaborate closely with attorneys and clients, giving me a deeper understanding of the legal system.
I am passionate about my work and hope to further my legal education by attending law school in the near future!
